Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche

Born in 1963, Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche is the third son of Kangyur Rinpoche. He was recognised by Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Dudjom Rinpoche and H.H. the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa as one of the reincarnations of Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö Rinpoche, one of the greatest Tibetan Masters of the last century and the Guru of Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche holds the Atisha lineage and has perfected the Lojong (mind training) teaching of Mahayana. He is profoundly knowledgeable of Vajrayana, and he demonstrates the spiritual effectiveness maintaining commitments on all levels. He is one of the guiding lights of the Padmakara Translation Group, who excellent translations include Shantideva’s The Way of the Bodhisattva, Paltrul Rinpoche’s The Words of My Perfect Teacher, Jamgön Mipham’s The White Lotus, and Terton Kangyur Rinpoche’s The Treasury of Perfect Qualities.
